Please read these terms carefully before using our services.
1. Introduction
Welcome to Good Dog Spa Wigram ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services, including dog day care, rehabilitation, and hydrotherapy services provided at our facility located in Wigram, Christchurch, New Zealand.
By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services
Good Dog Spa Wigram provides the following services:
- Dog Day Care services
- Canine Rehabilitation therapy
- Hydrotherapy (underwater treadmill)
- Related pet care services
All services are subject to availability and may be modified or discontinued at our discretion.
3. Eligibility Requirements
To use our services, your dog must:
- Be at least 12 weeks of age
- Be current on all vaccinations
- Pass our behaviour assessment
- Be free from contagious diseases or parasites
- Not display aggressive behaviour towards people or other animals
We reserve the right to refuse service to any dog that does not meet these requirements or poses a risk to staff or other animals.
4. Booking and Cancellations
All bookings must be made in advance through our booking system or by contacting us directly. Payment is required in advance for all services.
Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment
- Late cancellations or no-shows may result in forfeiture of prepaid fees
- Concession packages are non-refundable once purchased
5. Health and Safety
You certify that your dog is in good health at the time of drop-off. If your dog shows signs of illness, injury, fleas, ticks, or worms during their stay:
- We will notify you immediately
- You will be required to collect your dog as soon as possible
- Treatment costs for parasites will be charged to you
Dogs that have been ill with a contagious condition in the last 14 days require veterinary certification before being admitted.
6. Liability and Indemnification
While we take every precaution to ensure the safety of all animals in our care, you acknowledge that:
- Interaction between dogs may result in minor injuries such as scratches or nips
- We are not liable for injuries that occur during normal supervised play
- You indemnify us against claims arising from your dog's behaviour
7. Emergency Medical Treatment
In case of emergency:
- We will attempt to contact you or your emergency contact immediately
- If we cannot reach you and immediate medical attention is required, we will seek treatment at Wigram Vet
- You are responsible for all veterinary costs incurred
8. Pick-up and Drop-off
Our facility operates Monday to Friday, 7am to 6pm. Dogs must be:
- Dropped off and collected on a fixed-length leash (no longer than 1 metre)
- Wearing a well-fitted collar that cannot slip off
- Collected before 6pm each day
If you are running late, please contact us as soon as possible to make alternative arrangements.
9. Payment Terms
All fees must be paid in advance. We accept:
- Credit/debit cards
- Bank transfer
- Online payment through our member portal
Prices are subject to change. Current pricing is available on our website and at our facility.
10. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
11. Photographs and Media
We may take photographs or videos of dogs in our care for use on our website, social media, and marketing materials. If you do not wish your dog to be photographed, please notify us in writing.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will be effective immediately upon posting.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
